“The definitive guide to the Long and Medium Wave bands”

Second Receiver to be located in Australia!

A second WiNRADiO G313 will be on-line for visitors use from the third quarter of this year. This receiver will be located in a northern suburb of Perth, in Western Australia and will allow visitors to listen to stations from the Indian Ocean area, as well as AU. However, this receiver will not have the DRM option available.

No decision has been made as to the type of antenna that will be used as this depends on a site survey that will take place in early March. The server has been packed and will begin the long sea passage to Australia, via Singapore on Friday 19th January to arrive in Fremantle in early March.

This project is already in its third month of planning and further information, together with area maps and images, will be added to this page as the project progresses. Stay tuned for news on this exciting project.
